SUSTAINABILITY

Our policy is based on honest prices, always! That is why we do not follow the normal sale calendar. However, for special occasions there may be limited offers! We want to sell our products to people who really need them and because they are really in love with them, so that a garment is worn over time and not just once.

CIRCULAR PRODUCTION

Simplicitas' goal is to produce with as little environmental impact as possible and to communicate this transparently. We believe that circular production can only be called sustainable with a small stock in the warehouse. Our garments are made in limited quantities to ensure high quality standards and avoid unnecessary inventories. We also believe it is best to use what is already available as much as possible. Therefore, we produce garments with recyclable materials and through regenerated textile fibers: we mainly use Global Recycled Standard certified materials.

MADE IN ITALY

All Simplicitas garments are designed and made responsibly and sustainably exclusively in Italy, thus guaranteeing, quality, research and attention to detail. We collaborate only with laboratories that have the utmost respect for people, because the ethical treatment of workers is as important to us as our environmental impact.

LABELS

How we label and package our collections is as important as how we produce them. Both composition labels and branded labels are in fact made of recycled polyester, GRS certified: these are yarns obtained from recycled materials in compliance with environmental and social criteria extended to all stages of the production chain.

SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING

Eco-sustainability is a concrete, daily commitment for Simplicitas. From the selection of raw materials, to the packaging of garments, the focus is on the environment. That's why we use only FSC-certified, 100 percent recycled and recyclable cardboard from local box mills and water-based ink printing.

MATERIALS AND CERTIFICATIONS

The search for the best materials constitutes the essence of Simplicitas, because this is where sustainable choice begins. We choose only certified sustainable fabrics, from suppliers who share our values and are committed to sustainable growth by applying environmentally friendly methods and contributing to the circular economy in textiles. The fabric, besides having the power to communicate, is in direct contact with our skin and decides the durability of a garment: this is why we choose only sustainable and valuable fabrics.

CERTIFIED ORGANIC COTTON GOTS

Organic cotton is produced without the use of harmful chemicals and with reduced water consumption. Its production supports the health of the soil, environment and people by ensuring fair working conditions. It is softer and more breathable than traditional and greatly reduces the risk of irritation. For our collections, we choose only GOTS-certified organic cotton, the leading standard for sustainable production of garments and textiles made from natural fibers from organic farming.

TENCEL LYOCELL

TENCEL is a type of lyocell sourced from eucalyptus trees grown by FSC-certified companies and produced by Lenzing according to a highly sustainable, closed-loop process in which the solvents and water used are recovered almost l00%. It is naturally soft on the skin, elastic, durable and breathable.

GRS CERTIFIED RECYCLED POLYESTER

Recycled polyester consists precisely of recycled materials such as PET bottles and polyester fabrics. For Simplicitas garments, we choose only that which is GRS-certified. The high strength and functional versatility of recycled polyester is the same as that of traditional polyester, but with less environmental impact: its production eliminates the need for petroleum and generates 75% less CO2 emissions than virgin polyester.

CIRCULAR FASHION.

An essential part of our journey toward sustainability involves consciously choosing the fabrics that bring our garments to life. In fact, through the fabrics we choose we strive to minimize our environmental impact. Therefore, whenever possible, we opt to end sets of unused, high-quality fabrics that would otherwise go to waste. This is the case with our new upcycling project in support of circular fashion, in collaboration with Nona Source the platform that selects unused fabrics from LVMH Maisons giving designers a chance for creative reuse. Thus, exclusive Limited Editions with unique pieces are born! So sustainability also means using what is already available, adding a dash of creativity.
